چکیده

A study of two warehouse inventory systems with a production unit is developed in this article some constraints which are practical applicability to optimize the total cycle and its cost. evolves three different states retain quality prolong lifetime: state producing items, reworking identified defective being idle. It processes items up certain time point. The screening process starts immediately after product comes out unit. classified non-defective first stored own (OW), filling maximum capacity, remaining fill block RW1 rental RW. All second RW2 holding cost an item higher RW than OW. sent for re-do as single lot stop satisfy demand. priority satisfying demands new deduce Demand assumed both advertisement dependent encouraged once starts. deterioration rate differs warehouses. No backlog entertained. directed achieve optimum towards attainment slot entire system. We have arrived at explicit expressions function cycle. An analytic optimization discriminant method employed form algorithm arrive provides numerical illustration specific environment. implications current research work follows. utility units arriving extensively studied respect deterioration, demand, rates. also examined influence fluctuating parameters cost, they important managerial insights. effect charges on system used multi-purpose storage.

Introducing a New Formulation for the Warehouse Inventory Management Systems: with Two Stochastic Demand Patterns

This paper presents a new formulation for warehouse inventory management in a stochastic situation. The primary source of this formulation is derived from FP model, which has been proposed by Fletcher and Ponnambalam for reservoir management. The new proposed mathematical model is based on the first and the second moments of storage as a stochastic variable. Using this model, the expected value...

Single-Warehouse Multi-Retailer Inventory Systems with Full TruckLoad Shipments

We consider a multistage inventory system composed of a single warehouse that receives a single product from a single supplier and replenishes the inventory of n retailers through direct shipments. Ordering costs are dominated by the shipping costs associated with full truckload transportation with cargo capacity constraints. All costs are stationary. Demands for the n retailers over a planning...

A Two-warehouse Inventory Model for Deteriorating Items with Permissible Delay under Exponentially Increasing Demand

In this study, a two-warehouse inventory model with exponentially increasing trend in demand involving different deterioration rates under permissible delay in payment has been studied. Here the scheduling period is assumed to be a variable. The objective of this study is to obtain the condition when to rent a warehouse and the retailer's optimal replenishment policy that minimizes the total re...

Two-Warehouse Inventory Model for Deteriorating Items with Time-Dependent Demand and Partial Backlogging Under Inflation

This paper deals with a two-warehouse inventory model for deteriorating items with time dependent demand and partial backlogging under inflation. It is assumed that deterioration of items follows two-parameter Weibull distribution and demand rate varies exponentially with time. Shortages are allowed and partial backlogging depends on waiting time of next replenishment. A numerical example is pr...
